This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.
The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (CC) intends to award a Firm-Fixed price purchase order to STEMCELL™ TECHNOLOGIES INC, TUKWILA, WA 98168 on a sole source basis to procure reagents and consumables for the trademarked RoboSep™-S Cell Separator Systems, already existing with the clinical center, manufactured by STEMCELL Technologies Inc. These particular kits and filter tips are used to separate out specific cell population in allogeneic transplant patients to determine engraftment status. STEMCELL™ TECHNOLOGIES INC is the only known vendor that can offer the supplies "PROPRIETARY" to the RoboSep™-S Cell Separator. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the FAR Subpart 13.106 -1(b)(i) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicit from one source.
The product list and quantity are attached to this notice and titled - LIST OF SUPPLIES- 25-000032. The government reserves the right to increase quantities pursuant to FAR 52.217-6. The purchase order shall not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325414 with a small business standard size of 1,250 employees.
This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive quotations. Interested concerns capable of providing the same products or services as described in this notice may submit a capability statement outlining their capabilities. Information received will be evaluated for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capability Statements must be received within the time set forth in this synopsis to be considered by the Government. A determination to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
