The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The project includes all design and construction necessary to renovate and modernize the eight (8) lane Bowling Center (Bldg. 485) to include replacement of the existing pinsetter unit with new pinsetter unit to include string bowling, electronic gaming area and food operation including all demolition, installation, renovation, temporary construction and restoration necessary to produce a complete and useable facility.
The Work includes, but not limited to:
1. Site Investigation: The Contractor shall provide all surveys and perform all necessary site investigation utility locates (including, but not limited to, sub-surface utility “pot holing”) as required to complete the design and/or construction of the project. All site investigation activities shall be coordinated with appropriate Installation personnel through the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
2. Site Development and Design: The Contractor shall provide complete architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, landscape and fire protection designs, required to construct the facility in accordance with all codes, laws and requirements. The Contractor shall refer to Section H for additional information regarding design submittal requirements.
3. Materials: The Contractor shall provide all materials, furnishings, equipment and fixtures, including all required accessories, necessary to produce a complete and useable facility. Additionally, the Contractor is responsible for all material handling, staging,
delivery/transportation, receipt confirmation, loading/unloading of all materials, including any lifting equipment required, during all phases of work.
