Title Police Building HVAC Unit Replacement

The City of Fruita is soliciting competitive Bids from qualified and interested contractors to submit Bids for all labor, equipment, and materials for purchase and replacement of five (5) HVAC units at the Fruita Police Department located at 157 S. Mesa Street, Fruita, CO 81521. The Police Department building has three (3) rooftop units and two (2) ground mount units.

A Mandatory, pre-bid meeting with prospective Offerors will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Fruita Police Department Building located at 157 S. Mesa Street, Fruita, CO 81521. All questions from prospective Offerors regarding the Project and requiring a response prior to opening of bidding must be submitted to the Purchasing Agent at the City in writing prior to 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 28, 2025. If necessary, all Addenda responding to Project questions and providing necessary clarifications will be issued by 4:00 PM on Monday, March 4, 2025. All questions about these Instructions, or the bidding or Project materials being provided, must be submitted to City’s Purchasing Agent by email at: MacKenzie Erickson, merickson [at] fruita.org (merickson[at]fruita[dot]org) .

Bids must be submitted and received by City on or before 2:30 PM on Monday, March 11, 2025. Electronic Sealed Bids must be submitted to City through Bidnet Direct’s Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (“RMEPS”), accessible at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado , City does not have access to or control over the vendor side of RMEPS, and City makes no representation or warranty concerning the operability or accessibility of RMEPS. If website accessibility or operability or other problems with RMEPS arise during Bid submission, the Offerors MUST contact Bidnet Direct to resolve the issue prior to the Submission Deadline. The Submission Deadline will not be changed or extended due to any issues or problems with Proposal submission, through RMEPS or otherwise. Should any such issues or problems arise, contact Bidnet Direct at 800 835-4603. Sealed Bids may also be mailed or hand-delivered to the Fruita Civic Center, 325 E. Aspen Avenue, Fruita, Colorado 81521 no later than the submission deadline. It is the sole responsibility of the Offeror to see that the quotation is received before the submission deadline. The Offeror shall bear all risks associated with delays in the U.S. mail or delivery service.
