INVITATION TO BID ON THE
City of Stone Mountain - FY 2025 CITY PARKING LOT PROJECT & FENCING
PROJECT BID NO. CIP 2025-002
The City of Stone Mountain is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for PARKING LOT ADDITION & FENCING¿ CITY HALL. Sealed bids will be received by the City of Stone Mountain at the Stone Mountain City Hall, 875 Main Street, Stone Mountain, Georgia 30083, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Monday, June 30, 2025. The bids will be opened by staff and the results will be posted later that day via email to the bid submitters. Any bid received after 2:00 p.m. will not be accepted. Bid envelopes must be marked on the outside with Bid Number, Name of Bidder, date and time of opening and Contractor¿s License Number. Failure to display Contractor¿s License Number may result in the bid being returned.
Work required under the contract will include installation of security fencing with associated remote access gate around existing parking lot at rear of City Hall [+/- 350LF fencing with 24¿wide gate] as well as grading, stormwater management systems, paving, etc. to provide additional 30 space parking lot to the south of City Hall.
Interested parties should contact Larry Genn lgenn@lbgmassociates.com (770-312-2674) to request a bid package. PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS MUST REGISTER WITH CITY OF STONE MOUNTAIN FOR THIS PROJECT TO ENSURE NOTIFICATION OF ANY ADDEDUM RELEASES.
Bids shall be entered as a Unit Price Basis. The bidder shall provide an overall price based on unit prices for estimated quantities as described in the project manual, design plans, and outlined on the bid form.
One complete set of drawings and specifications shall be provided in an electronic format. No partial sets of working drawings or specifications shall be issued. Questions shall be emailed to Larry Genn at LBGM Associates, Inc., Attention: Stone Mountain City Engineer Bid No. 2025-002 at lgenn@lbgmassociates.com.
