Sale of municipal property

Notice is hereby given that the City of McRae-Helena is conducting a sale of municipal property in accordance with O.C.G.A § 36-37-6. Said sale of real property shall occur by sealed bid. The Invitation to Bid may be found on the city website (www.mcrae-helena.org) located under Bid Opportunities. The property shall be conveyed by limited warranty deed and subject to those terms and conditions contained in the Invitation to Bid. All sealed bids shall be submitted no later than Monday, June 30, 2025, at 12:00 PM to the City Manager¿s Office, 25 S. First Avenue, McRae-Helena, Georgia 31055. The sealed bids will be publicly opened in the conference room at City Hall, 25 S. First Avenue, McRae-Helena, Georgia, 31055 on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
The legal description of the property to be sold is as follows:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 189 of the 10th Land District of Telfair County, Georgia, being 1.19 acres, more or less, as shown on that survey for City of McRae Helena, prepared by Grady Boney Central South Surveying, certified by Grady Boney, Georgia Registered Land Surveyor No. 2460, dated March 18, 2025, and recorded in Plat Book 13, Page 743, Superior Court Clerk¿s Office, Telfair County, Georgia deed records. Said plat is made a part hereof and incorporated herein for a more complete and accurate description of the property.
