Professional Engineering and Design, Bidding and
Construction Administration and Inspection Services
ADDENDUM #1
This Addendum forms a part of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) documents and clarifies the original RFQ
documents as noted below. All other provisions of the RFQ remain unchanged.
Clarification Questions & Responses
Question 1: We see the Village has a $15.3 mil. Project on the CWSRF IUP for Corliss Avenue. We assume this
is the same project. Is that accurate?
Answer: Yes, this RFQ is in reference to the same project.
Question 2: If so, what is the intent of the RFQ scope? Is it to design AND construct the entire $15.3 mil.
project?
Answer: The RFQ is for Design Services, Construction Administration, and Construction Inspection.
Question 3: What is the Village’s intent for the balance of design and construction? Will the Village bond for
the balance, finance through EFC, or something else?
Answer: The Village intends to apply for additional grant money as well as EFC financing.
Question 4: We also know the Village received a $1.4 mil. WIIA grant for Corliss Area Combined Sewer
Retrofit. We assume this is the same project. Is that accurate?
Answer: Correct.
Question 5: Is there any additional information you have relative the project? i.e. prior studies, engineering
reports, surveys, record drawings, etc.?
Answer: Hunt Engineers completed a preliminary engineering study for the project in 2024. Please email
cdevadmin@villageofjc.com for access to a link for the study.
Question 6: Since this is an RFQ, are you looking for consultants to provide a fee to be submitted?
Answer: No fee is required at this time.
Question 7: Does the Village of any existing mapping, plans, and CCTV data, or prior studies and/or known
hydraulic constraints and flooding location maps to provide?
Answer: Existing Maps, Plans, and CCTV data will be provided to the chosen consultant. To view the
