1. Bidding shall start at Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000).
2. Bids must be submitted on the City’s Sealed Bid Submission Form in a sealed envelope, and
received by the City Clerk’s Office, by mail or hand delivery, no later than noon on June 15, 2026,
at 136 Keys Ferry St., Attn: City Clerk, City Hall - 2nd Floor, McDonough, Georgia, 30253.
3. The outside of the sealed envelope must contain the name, address and phone number of the person
submitting the bid.
4. Bids shall be publicly opened at 4:30pm on June 15, 2026, at City of McDonough City Hall,
Second Floor, McKibben Council Chambers, 136 Keys Ferry Street, McDonough, Georgia, 30253.
5. The highest responsible bidder shall be announced at the bid opening, and notified at their email
address provided on their Sealed Bid Submission Form.
6. Payment must be submitted to the City Clerk in the form of certified check, cashier’s check, or
money order, by noon on June 16, 2026.
7. Failure to submit timely payment to the City may result in the property being sold to the next highest
bidder.
8. The Property shall be conveyed by quit claim deed to the highest responsible bidder.
9. By law, the City shall have the right to reject any and all bids or to cancel the proposed sale.
10. The Sealed Bid Submission Form may be retrieved by requesting the same by email from the City
