The Beaverton Urban Redevelopment Agency (BURA) is seeking a qualified contractor to maintain and operate the Beaverton Central Garage. Services the Contractor is to provide include but are not limited to: daily parking operations; monthly parking and bicycle permit management; parking validation production, distribution and billing; equipment maintenance, service, and upkeep; customer service; daily maintenance, such as sweeping and refuse management; as needed maintenance such as graffiti clean-up and stairwell de-icing; and parking attendant services for events, as-needed. The Contractor will be the first point of contact with vendors for any regular or emergency maintenance needs. The Contractor will work in conjunction with separately contracted Garage security services and remote customer service representatives. BURA provides office space for the Contractor on the ground floor of the Garage (finished retail and shared spaces).
The Beaverton Urban Redevelopment Agency (BURA) owns and operates the Beaverton Central Garage, which opened in February 2022. The Beaverton Central Garage (Garage) serves a variety of users, including daily and monthly parking for residents, employees, visitors and event attendees.
The daily operations and maintenance of the Garage have been managed by a third-party vendor since opening. BURA is interested in continuing turnkey parking management support services and for the Contractor to provide operations, management and administration, routine and daily maintenance, and additional support for the Garage.
The Garage is an automated, paid parking facility and is the primary parking for visitors to the district, The Reser performing arts center, and reserved parking for adjacent condominiums.
Due to anticipated changes to parking in the area near the Garage, additional parking management services, such as validation programs or hotel self-parking, may be needed in the future and considered as add-ons that can be included with the potential contract award.
