General Description
The City of Greenville will receive sealed bids for the purchase of two (2) small dump
trucks. One (1) F-350 (or comparable make and brand to size) with plow package and
one (1) F-550 (or comparable make and brand to size) cab & chassis, both regular cab,
60" CA, gas, PTO provision, electric brake controller, railer plug and wiring, upfitter
switches and painted white.
Both chassis will be upfitted with dump box specifications as outlined in the second
portion of this bid. Chassis will be bid to coincide with dump box specifications. Awarded
bidders of both the chassis and upfitter build must attend a pre-construction meeting
with the Public Service Director prior to chassis acceptance.

Evaluation of Bids
The City will review submitted bids and other relevant information (cost, best value for the
municipality, subjective considerations) regarding the products to which the City wishes
to purchase. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any response for any or no
reason and to waive any minor irregularity if determined to be in the best interest of the
City of Greenville. Individuals or companies submitting paperwork as part of the bid
selection process understand, by their submission, the above evaluation process.
Selection of Bids
It is anticipated that this agreement will be considered by City Council on July 21, 2026.
The "Total Amount Proposed" cost will be valid for a minimum of 90 days after the bid
opening date and prospective vendors will be held to the price presented.
Scope of Work

Procurement of vehicles as soon as possible.
No sales tax may be added to the bid price, as the City of Greenville is sales tax exempt.
Any shipping costs for merchandise must be paid by the vendor, as part of the bid amount
proposed. Additionally, the final proposed total cost covers the entire scope of the project.

Bid Two
General Description
Two (2) nine-foot stainless steel dump bodies with fold down sides, tarp system, custom
lighting, hoist hydraulics, custom hitch plate, hot shift PTO, valve sections for conveyor,
spinner and prewet functions to be capped off for future use, custom SS chipper box.
Both chassis purchased in Bid One will be upfitted with dump body specifications as
outlined in the second portion of this bid. Chassis will be bid to coincide with dump box
specifications. Awarded bidders of both the chassis and upfitter build must attend a pre-

* Longbeam material: 7 ga. A1011 steel, Rustproofed 7" Longbeam height
* Floor material: 3/16" AR450 steel
* 1-oval light cutout in each rear pillar, mounted as low as possible
* Select style chain slot brackets
* Install one shovel holder on the streetside in front of the bulkhead
* Mudflaps installed in front and rear of drive tires
* No underbed toolboxes
* Stainless steel to remain bare/unpainted

* No taillights needed at rear
5. Hot shift PTO with direct mount Gear Pump
6. Electric toggle switch mounted in cab for operating hoist function
7. Valve sections for conveyor, spinner and prewet functions to be capped off for
future use
8. Install Custom Lighting including the following:
* No front/forward facing strobe lights
* Install Sound off Pinnacle EPL7PDPC amber/green light bar mounted
centered to the cab
* Shield with a custom stainless steel mounting bracket, no brush guard
* SoundOff LED amber/green Mpower flashers mounted above
stop/turn/tail/backup lights in rear pillars, one on each side
* All emergency/warning flashers wired to one chassis supplied upfitter switch
* Maxxima LED stop/turn/tail/backup lights installed in each rear pillar post oval
light hole cutout
* No work lights
* License plate light mounted to rear hitch plate
* Proximity switch wired to dash mounted LED "body up" indicator light
* Install back up alarm
* Install Betts Dri-seal junction box at rear
9. Supply and install removeable SS chipper top for use with dump body including:
* 12 ga. 201 stainless steel construction
* Includes 7" high x 91.125" stainless steel riser, to be bolted to dump body
inner board pockets using stainless steel mounting hardware
* Chipper top dimensions:
Inside height: 39"

* Top corners to run at a 45-degree angle between the sides and top from front
to back, includes interior support gussets
* Four slotted vents cut into each side of the chipper top at the front towards
the top
* Four lift-loops installed at the top corners of the chipper top

* Chipper top to be bolted to risers using stainless steel mounting hardware
* Inside dimension from dump body floor to the inside of the installed chipper
top roof to be approximately 60"
