Provide professional services for design of the proposed Center for Outreach and Engagement facility, which is a new 14,000 square-foot steel frame and brick masonry building with substantial fenestration to allow views through the facility to the water beyond. The facility is comprised of, but not limited to, spaces to support conference/events, seminars, lab/classrooms, offices and catering/demonstration kitchen. It is also VIMS intention to construct a rooftop terrace space for the purposes of events.
