Qualifications:
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, disposal, and insurance necessary for: Complete demolition of both structures, Removal of foundations, slabs, porches, steps, and footings unless directed otherwise, Complete debris removal, Protection of adjacent property, Dust suppression, Safe disposal and transport of all demolition waste, Maintenance of barricades and public safety measures.
Special Requirements:
The Contractor shall: Obtain all required EPA, Georgia EPD, and local permits, Submit all required asbestos abatement and demolition notifications, Pay all permit, notification, landfill, and regulatory fees, Comply with EPA NESHAP, OSHA, Georgia EPD, and local ordinances, Coordinate inspections and clearances,
Provide all permits, notifications, waste manifests, and final documentation to the City.
Contractor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance with Workers’ Compensation (statutory limits), Commercial General Liability ($1,000,000 minimum per occurrence), Business Automobile Liability (owned, hired, non-owned), Contractor’s Pollution Liability ($1,000,000 minimum, including asbestos activities). Insurance must remain in force through the project and any warranty period.
A Performance Bond equal to 100% of the contract price is required with the bid.
