Introduction & Purpose
Gunnison County is soliciting fixed-fee, turn-key construction proposals for a new Impound
Building. Fully engineered plans are attached.
Gunnison County wishes to construct the building before the end of the year 2026.
Project Description
Construction of a 43’ x 30’ engineered shop/garage structure per attached drawings.
Heating system to be air-source mini-split.
No water or sewer services.
Contractor must include extension of electric service from transformer to the East of the
site.
Scope of Work
Turn-key delivery including all materials, labor, subcontractor work, utilities, finishes, and
commissioning.

Bid Requirements
Bids must include breakdowns for materials, labor, subcontractors, overhead, and profit.
Bond & Insurance Requirements
Proposers must provide proof of general liability insurance and a letter of intent from their
surety indicating bonding capacity su^icient for the project.
Proposal Submission Instructions
Bids are due Monday, August 24 at 5:00 PM. Proposals must be submitted via email to
jcattles@gunnisoncounty.org.
Selection Process
Evaluation based on clarity, experience, cost structure, and schedule.
