Underground Storage Tank Removal
Description:

Lewis County is seeking a qualified contractor to remove one (1) 8,000-gallon underground storage tank (UST) system formerly used to store fuel oil at the former Lyons Falls Elementary School located at 6832 McAlpine Street, Lyons Falls, New York. The project also includes requirements for excavated material handling. All excavated material generated is considered a solid waste and may or may not be contaminated with low level metal, volatile organic compound, and/or semi-volatile organic compound impacts based on previous subsurface investigations performed on the Site.
