The Barrow County Board of Education is soliciting competitive proposals for school bus

bodies as speciﬁed in the fallowing document. Proposals from bidders will be received by

Barrow County Schools via email only until 10:00am local time, on August 24, 2026.

Proposals must be sent to christina.obryant@barrow.k12.ga.us and should include the

words “BCSS-SCHOOLBUS-FY27” in the subject line.

Emailed proposals will only be deemed accepted for consideration upon delivery of a

conﬁrmation email from christina.obryant@barrow.k12.ga.us to vendor’s email indicating

receipt of proposal. If vendor does not receive conﬁrmation of receipt of proposal via email,

vendor should consider proposal not to have been delivered. Proposal forms are attached

and bidders shall use these forms only for supplying all the information for which space is

provided (other forms subject to rejection).

SEATING CAPACITY OF BODIES…………..54 Designed Capacity with ﬂat ﬂoor and

wheelchair lift.

Proposals may be withdrawn for a period of thirty-ﬁve (35) days after the date of receipt of

proposals. The proposal price shall be made on a per bus body unit basis for each lot. The

proposal price shall include all cost of delivery and receiving, inclusive of unloading from

public carrier a 266 Hal Jackson Road, Winder, Georgia 30680. The successful bidder shall

guarantee that the price and/or prices will not be increased throughout the model year. The

school district reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any information in

bidding. The right is reserved to increase or decrease the number of bus bodies set forth

above for any capacity before any successful bidders are declared, pursuant to this notice.

The Barrow County Board of Education also reserves the right to consider the servicing

locations, availability and cost of parts, and other factors in the interest of the Board in

making the award. The right is reserved to declare the successful bidder to be that which is
