| Solicitation Document Description: |
It is the Contractors responsibility to provide all labour, material, equipment and supervision to complete the repairs outlined in this specification taking into account all site conditions, noise restriction, work area restrictions, protection requirements, accessibility restrictions, etc. No extras will be entertained for inconveniences after the award of this Contract. In particular, the work includes but is not necessarily limited to the following:
.1 The installation and maintenance of hoarding, dust protection, and construction signage around each phase of work as described in Section 01 56 00. .2 Wholesale removal and of the existing roofing assemblies, including flashings, downspouts, wood blocking, ballast, insulation, etc., down to the existing concrete or metal deck surface at the roof areas as indicated in the drawings. .3 Remove debris and localized vegetation from existing roofs to remain. .4 Install a roof access ladder from the 4th floor roof to the 3rd floor roof below located as indicated on the drawings. .5 Repair localized flashing and drain cover damage. .6 Repair all areas damaged by construction activity; specifically, the Contractor shall repair all damage resulting from the Construction to the satisfaction of the Consultant including repainting of surfaces that have been damaged in accordance with these Specifications. .7 Final cleaning of structure, fixtures, piping, etc., and the disposal all waste products and/ or debris generated by the construction activity as well as any material present in the work area prior to the commencement |

.1 Mandatory Site Meeting
.1 Suppliers are required to attend a mandatory site meeting to familiarize themselves with the Project and ascertain the full extent of the Work required. The mandatory site meeting will take place at 10AM local time on January 30, 2026 at 222 Spadina Ave., Toronto. Site meetings will not be available at any other times. .2 Suppliers must sign the attendance sheet at the mandatory site meeting during the designated date and time for their Bid to be considered. .3 Bids submitted by Suppliers that do not attend the mandatory site meeting or fail to sign the attendance sheet shall be declared non-compliant. |
