REQUEST FOR BID
2026 Zodiac Inflatable Boat, Motor and Trailer
Bids will be received by the Town of Merrimack until 2:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Thursday,
August 6, 2026 to supply a Zodiac MilPro boat, motor and trailer for the Fire Rescue Department,
in accordance with the enclosed detailed bid specifications and following conditions.
The bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form furnished herewith and shall exclude state and federal
taxes not applicable to municipalities. The bid price shall be quoted F.O.B. Town of Merrimack,
Fire Department, 432 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH.
The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids, and to
accept the bid which best serves the interest of the Town.
Bids must be sealed, marked "Bid on Zodiac Inflatable Boat, Motor and Trailer" with one
additional copy and mailed to the Town of Merrimack Finance Department, 6 Baboosic Lake Rd,
Merrimack, NH 03054 by the date and time specified above.
It is the bidder's responsibility to confirm the bid is received by the Finance Department by the
date and time specified.

Specification
Boat, Motor and Trailer - Delivered
Bids shall include delivery with the following detailed bid specifications and conditions:
Item 1a. The boat shall be the Zodiac MilPro - MK 2 GR Mark(TM) 2 Grand Raid(TM) Boat and
include:
* Color: Red
* Material: Hypalon
* Overall length: 13' 9"
* Maximum capacity 7
* Maximum payload 2006 lb
* 4 air tight compartments on main tubes with 2 minimum intercommunication valves on
the main tubs, inflatable keel
* Anodized aluminum floor (Anti-Skid)
* Large flow self-bailer with sleeve
* 2 paddles
Additional requirements:
1) SCBA inflation system with hose and hardware with a secure cylinder mount
2) SCBA fitting to be used with SCBA threaded scott/MSA cylinders
3) Lettering on both main Pontoons( Merrimack Fire Rescue ) in High viz reflective lettering
that is treated and secure (color white or silver)
4) A custom cover will be manufactured to cover the boat with ample connection points to
securely attach to the boat lifting
Item 1b. The boat motor shall be 30 HP PROP driven 4 stroke outboard motor matched to the
above boat (Tohatsu MFS30D Multi-Function tiller) engineered for rapid response inflatable
rescue boats.

Requirements
The boat will come fully assembled and delivered by successful bidder. Successful Bidder
must be able to provide on-site instruction and troubleshooting if needed and provide service
to the boat if requested by the purchaser. Bidders must be authorized direct and or OEM dealers
for the manufacturers of the proposed equipment.
