Reading Area Community College (RACC) is soliciting bids for subsidence remediation at the Schmidt Training & Technology Center. The project is required to stabilize existing building foundations that have experienced settlement and loss of support due to subsurface voids and sinkhole activity. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, compaction grouting, structural masonry repairs, and associated site work necessary to restore structural integrity and prevent further movement. Grouting shall be performed in controlled stages and monitored continuously to limit structural movement to specified tolerances. The work includes both interior and exterior grouting, with interior operations coordinated outside of normal business hours.
