Description

See attached F-16 MIL-STD-1553 Intrusion Detection Prevention Hardware Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI).

The Government has a requirement for an Intrusion Detection System and Intrusion Prevention System (IDS/IPS) capability that will add security to the F-16 MIL-STD-1553 data bus and harden the aircraft against cyber-attacks. The F-16 uses MIL-STD-1553 and MIL-STD-1553B. The Air Force is conducting market research, through this RFI, to assess potential firms capable of providing a suitable MIL-STD-1553 data bus intrusion and prevention system hardware solution to meet Blk 40/42/50/52 F-16 capability, design, and operational requirements.

Provide an electronic response/attachments through e-mail to Laurie Auernig, Malorie Bennion, and cc John Twomey. On the e-mail subject line include "F-16 MIL-STD-1553 Intrusion Detection Prevention Hardware RFI Response - Company Name)." Responses are due by Monday, 2 December 2024, 2:00 PM (MST).
