Description: The City of Newburgh seeks the services of a Certified Water Storage Tank Inspector and a NYS Licensed Professional Engineer to carry out the scope of services, as outlined in the specifications. The services include inspection of the City’s five (5) water storage tanks and preparation of reports for each inspection. The tanks vary in size consisting of one (1) 500,000-gallon tank, one (1) 1.2-million gallon tank, one (1) 1.5-million gallon tank, and two (2) 2-million gallon tanks. All tanks are owned by the City of Newburgh, and located in either the City of Newburgh, Town of Newburgh or the Town of New Windsor. The objective of this RFP is identify a proposer that demonstrates the best value based on the results of the RFP scoring criteria. The proposer that demonstrates the best value based on the results of the RFP scoring criteria shall be recommended to the City Council for entry into a contract to perform the scope of work under the requirements outlined in the specifications.
