COPY OF LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT

Sealed proposals will be received in the Office of the Director of Public Service and Safety, City Hall, Troy, Ohio, until twelve o’clock noon, Wednesday, November 13, 2024,  for the cash farm lease of approximately 37.9 acres of Paul  G. Duke Park in accordance with the bidding document now on file in the office of the Director of Public Service and Safety, City Hall, Troy, Ohio.   Land rent is to be paid  to the City  in accordance with the proposed lease agreement.   All Federal government farm program payments will be paid to the Lessee.  The Lessee will be expected to farm this land in a husbandry manner, with proper crop rotation.

The City is seeking proposals based on a three-year lease agreement with up to three one-year mutually agreed upon extensions.

Forms may be obtained from the Service Director’s Office, City Hall, 100 S. Market Street, Troy, Ohio.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, marked Farm Lease Bid.

The City of Troy, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bidding and to award the lease agreement to the bidder who in its consideration offers the lowest and/or best bid.

The City of Troy, Ohio is in compliance with ADA.
