Cultural Readiness Assessment
Synopsis:

We are seeking quotations to conduct a Cultural Readiness Assessment of our organization, with a particular focus on identifying systemic and cultural barriers to the inclusion and retention of Indigenous employees. While we believe this is a primary area of concern, we are also open to the identification of other cultural or organizational issues that may be limiting our progress toward a more inclusive, equitable, and culturally responsive workplace.

Our goal is to gain insights, evidence, and recommendations that support meaningful and sustainable change, enhancing the overall cultural readiness of our organization and advancing reconciliation and equity within our workplace.

Additional Information:

Scope of Work:

The selected consultant or firm will be expected to:

Conduct a cultural readiness assessment that includes qualitative and quantitative methods to understand employee experiences and perceptions—particularly from leaders, Human Resources and past Indigenous staff.

Evaluate leadership and organizational readiness to advance Indigenous inclusion and equity.
Identify additional cultural or organizational issues that may impact inclusion, safety, and retention.

Deliverables:

A comprehensive assessment report outlining key findings, analysis, and prioritized recommendations.
Clear, actionable strategies and interventions that support Indigenous employee inclusion and retention, and broader cultural readiness improvements.
A presentation of findings and recommendations to the CEO, Executive Director, Finance and Corporate Services, and the Human Resources Advisor.

Timeline:

We expect the Cultural Readiness Assessment to be completed within 8–10 weeks of awarding the contract. Please include an estimated timeline in your proposal, including key phases such as consultation, analysis, and reporting.
