Aquatic Chemicals and Supplies

The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 3:00 pm (local prevailing time).

The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide Aquatic Chemical & Non-Chemical Aquatic Supplies to Brittingham-Midtown Aquatics Center & Southeastern Aquatics Center (SECRA) – Doris Pool & Splash Pad on an as needed basis throughout the year. This will allow for appropriate chemical balancing at both sites and for any supplies used to balance the water. The City reserves the right to add and/or remove items, sites and services during the contract term(s) as needed.
