Description
The mission of the Indian Health Service (IHS) is to raise the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest level. Our Vision is for healthy communities and quality health care systems through strong partnerships and culturally responsive practices. Through these principals, the Nashville Area has been providing primary and supplemental prescription coverage at local retailers.
A Nashville Area Retail Pharmacy Service contract provides an opportunity for pharmacies to expand their CSR initiatives by improving healthcare access for Native American communities. This partnership will help participating vendors enhance their reputation as socially responsible organizations committed to health equity.
IHS Intends to award one or more awards as a result of the soliciation.
