Lincoln County – Historic Courthouse Redevelopment Project
J.M. Cope Inc has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk by Lincoln County and is inviting prequalified bidders only for construction trade and specialty contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for the Lincoln County Historic Courthouse Redevelopment project in Lincolnton, North Carolina.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Scope of work consists of 30,000 sf of renovation to the existing Lincoln County Historic Courthouse. This includes site work, utilities, hardscapes, landscaping, new exterior window, doors and hardware, waterproofing, masonry repairs, drywall/metal framing, HVAC, and electrical.

BP 02H – Landscaping, Site Pavers, Irrigation, Seeding

BP 05A – Misc. Steel
BP 07A – Caulking & Waterproofing
BP 08A – Glass & Glazing
BP 08B – Doors / Frames / Hardware
BP 09A – Non-loading bearing Metal Studs & Drywall
BP 09C – Acoustical Ceilings, Plaster Ceilings
BP 14A - Elevator
BP 22A – Plumbing
BP 23A – HVAC Systems
BP 26A – Electrical Systems
Additional Packages may be added and/or deleted at the discretion of the Construction Manager. Historically underutilized business firms are encouraged to complete participation submittals.
All construction documents and drawings for this project will be issued by J.M. Cope and sent out to prequalified bidders on or around 2/27/25.
The Bid Date for this project is March 6

, 2025. All Bids for this project must be hand delivered or by mail. No emailed bids will be accepted for this project. Bid times for each bid package and the project onsite pre-bid meeting will be provided in the bid documents.
