Caterpillar Equipment, Service, and Maintenance

Sarasota County intends to award a sole source procurement to Ring Power Corporation for the provision of Caterpillar generators, pumps, ancillary parts and equipment, as well as the labor, equipment, and materials required to perform maintenance and service in accordance with manufacturer's specifications on equipment.

In the event respondents demonstrate the ability to supply the same or substantially similar products and/or services, the County may, in its sole discretion, elect to cancel this sole source and advertise a competitive solicitation.

Per correspondence from Caterpillar, Inc., dated July 25, 2024, Ring Power is the sole authorized entity for Caterpillar parts, services and equipment in Sarasota County.

Any vendor who believes they can provide the goods and/or services described in the attached sole source documentation should respond to this ISS by the date specified.
