Description:

SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University intends to purchase Laboratory Equipment - Fully Automated Blood Culture Incubation & Microbial Detection System, supplies, and accessories or Comparable. Using Premier Contract

PP-LA-541. Contract PP-LA-541 pursuant to its authority under New York State Finance Law, section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes the use of a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors who sell Fully Automated Blood Culture Incubation & Microbial Detection System equipment, supplies, and accessories or Comparable, may, if interested, contact Shirene Mosley, to discuss this procurement. If offering equivalent, compatible, equipment, supplies, and accessories, the vendor must provide the following at no cost: Supporting documentation, software (SEE ATTACHMENTS). Delivery, equipment set-up, supplies, and accessories for examination, demonstration, and trial.

This RFQ is subject to New York State (NYS) Finance Law §139 j&k, AKA the Lobbying Law. Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the person(s) listed below. Contacting any other person at SUNY Downstate in connection with this advertisement may constitute a violation of New York State Finance Law. Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract award to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency.

Successful vendor shall be required to complete and submit applicable documents related to Vendor Responsibility, NYS Public Officers Law, NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, EO177, and New York State’s Tax Law Section 5-a.
