The Town of Canton invites sealed bids for partial interior renovations to the historic Canton Public Library. The work includes phased interior demolition and reconfiguration to allow continuous library operations; removal and reinstallation of library furniture and equipment; installation of new interior storefront systems, operable acoustic partitions, custom millwork, and a tiered wood structure with structural steel supports, replacement and repair of ceilings and floor finishes, installation of acoustic treatments; selective upgrades to lighting, electrical, HVAC, fire protection and alarm systems, IT and audiovisual coordination, minor plumbing improvements, and repainting of affected areas.
