IFB Natural Gas Supply National Grid Long Island Service Territory
Description:

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the purchase of natural gas supply at NYMEX indexed prices plus the Energy Service Company (ESCO’s) basis price to the National Grid Long Island Service Territory for the Campuses to receive natural gas supply; the transportation to the distribution system must be primary firm, non-recallable. SUNY will contract with one ESCO for the purchase of natural gas on behalf of SUNY Farmingdale and Old Westbury. SUNY is seeking an eighteen (18) month supply contract for the period January 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, with an option to extend, by mutual consent, for up to twenty-four (24) additional months.

Natural gas supply provided under this IFB will be administered according to the prevailing Federal, State and NYS Public Service Commission laws, rules and regulations governing the natural gas transportation system serving the National Grid Long Island Territory and utility’s tariff and rate schedules. The IFB and associated attachments are attached to this advertisement. Questions are due no later than October 24, at 2:00 pm EST. If submitting a hard copy of your bid, please send an email to bids @farmingdale.edu notifying SUNY that you are submitting a hard copy.

SUNY makes no reimbursement for travel or travel-related expenses. SUNY reserves the right to make no award.
