INVITATION FOR BIDS

Submitted bids will be opened electronically at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 13, 2026; and will be posted to the Vermont

Agency of Transportation website. The time of receiving and opening bids may be postponed due to emergencies or

unforeseen conditions.

LOCATION: STATE ROADS, CLASS 1 AND CLASS 2 TOWN HIGHWAYS WITHIN THE NORTHWEST REGION

(DISTRICT #3, DISTRICT #5, DISTRICT #6, DISTRICT #8).

TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: APPLICATION OF PAVEMENT MARKINGS WITHIN THE NORTHWEST REGION

(DISTRICT #3, DISTRICT #5, DISTRICT #6, AND DISTRICT #8). MARKING ON NATIONAL HIGHWAY AND STATE

SYSTEM ROADS INCLUDES LONGITUDINAL LINES AND SELECT STENCILED MARKINGS, GREEN MARKINGS

AND OTHER PAVEMENT MARKINGS. MARKING ON CLASS 1 AND CLASS 2 TOWN HIGHWAYS INCLUDES CENTER

LINE PAVEMENT MARKINGS.

CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: This Contract shall be completed on or before October 09, 2026.

BID BOND: Electronic bid bond to be submitted in the amount of 5% of the Contractor's bid.

ENGINEER's ESTIMATE: For this proposal the Engineer's Estimate is Category E.

QUESTIONS: During the advertisement period, all questions shall be addressed solely to the Office of Contract

Administration via email: AOT.ConstructionContractingInquiry@vermont.gov. All inquiries must be received by 4:30 PM

on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

PREQUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS: All bidders on this project must hold both current annual Prequalification

with the Vermont Agency of Transportation through the "Contractor's Experience Questionnaire and Financial Statement"

and unconditioned project-specific approval through the "Standard Form - Request for Proposal" CA-82 form. These

documents are available at: https://vtrans.vermont.gov/sites/aot/files/contractadmin/documents/PreQualCA82.pdf, and

must be submitted/uploaded through the iCXWeb website at: https://vtrans.exevision.com/icx/Index.aspx

STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS: The work to be performed under this Contract shall be in accordance with the 2024

Standard Specifications for Construction, as modified. The Standard Specifications are available on the Vermont Agency

of Transportation website.

NON-COLLUSION AFFIDAVIT: All bidders will be required to execute a sworn statement, certifying that the bidder has

not, either directly or indirectly, entered into any agreement, participated in any collusion, or otherwise taken any action in

restraint of free competitive bidding in connection with this Contract.
