2025 Milling and Deep Patching

Sealed bids will be received by the Walton County Board of Commissioners for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for milling and deep patching on various roads and streets located in Walton County. Bidding documents may be obtained at the Board of Commissioners Office, 111 S. Broad Street, Monroe, Georgia 30655, Monday ¿ Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by email to rhawk@co.walton.ga.us or gretchen.thurmond@co.walton.ga.us. Bids will be received by the Walton Co. Purchasing Department no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be required. In lieu of a bid bond, a cashier's check, cash or an irrevocable letter of credit may be accepted. Both a performance and payment bond will be required in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Proof of workers compensation and liability insurance will be required with Walton County or any municipality named as additional insured.
Contractors must provide a Contractor Affidavit verifying compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program known as E-Verify. This form must be notarized.
Walton County reserves the right to waive any informality and to accept any bid which in its sole discretion, may be in the best interest of Walton County.
