The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), Region 8 is conducting market research and is seeking competent and qualified construction firms to provide xeriscaping services Federal Building in Huron, SD. This project will replace existing irrigated turf grass lawn areas around the building with sustainable water-efficient xeriscaping.
GSA is seeking highly qualified firms with experience with landscaping/xeriscaping. See the attachment for further information and information on submitting a capability statement.
The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
This project is funded by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (IRA), Pub. L. No. 117-169, enacted in August 2022, provided GSA with significant funding for (a) measures necessary to convert facilities to high-performance green buildings, (b) acquisition and installation of construction materials and products with substantially lower levels of embodied greenhouse gas emissions, and (c) emerging and sustainable technologies.
