NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE CITY OF ABILENE WILL RECEIVE SEALED,
WRITTEN BIDS IN THE OFFICE OF THE PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR, 555 WALNUT
STREET, ROOM 201-A, CITY HALL, ABILENE, TEXAS 79601 UNTIL 2:00 P.M. ON THE 8TH
DAY OF JANUARY A.D., 2026 FOR:
1. BONANZA DRIVE EXTENSION – BID #CB-2618
BIDS WILL BE OPENED AND READ ALOUD IMMEDIATELY AFTER CLOSING DEADLINE IN
THE CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS.
A PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON DECEMBER 17, 2025 AT 2:00 P.M. IN THE
ABILENE REGIONAL AIRPORT LOWER-LEVEL CONFERENCE ROOM, 2933 AIRPORT BLVD.,
ABILENE, TEXAS 79602.
BID DOCUMENTS MAY BE OBTAINED WITHOUT CHARGE VIA CIVCAST AT
WWW.CIVCASTUSA.COM. ALL BIDS MUST SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLY WITH
SPECIFICATIONS.
THE CITY OF ABILENE WILL AWARD TO THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER. THE CITY
RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS.
DAVIS BACON WAGE RATES WILL BE REQUIRED.
THE GRANTEE AND ITS CONTRACTORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH
THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE BUILD AMERICA, BUY AMERICA (BABA) ACT, 41 USC 8301
NOTE, AND ALL APPLICABLE RULES AND NOTICES, AS MAY BE AMENDED, IF APPLICABLE
TO THE GRANTEE'S INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT. PURSUANT TO HUD'S NOTICE, "PUBLIC
INTEREST PHASED IMPLEMENTATION WAIVER FOR FY 2022 AND 2023 OF BUILD
AMERICA, BUY AMERICA PROVISIONS AS APPLIED TO RECIPIENTS OF HUD FEDERAL
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE" (88 FR 17001), ANY FUNDS OBLIGATED BY HUD ON OR AFTER
THE APPLICABLE LISTED EFFECTIVE DATES, ARE SUBJECT TO BABA REQUIREMENT,
UNLESS EXCEPTED BY A WAIVER.
