Course in Police Supervision

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), Office of Public Safety (OPS) is tasked with providing direct and indirect training to sworn law enforcement officers; developing new training courses and maintaining existing courses; and developing nontraditional methods of instruction and delivery of training courses. OPS is responsible for the maintenance and dissemination of the curriculum for the Course that is required to be completed by first-line supervisors within one year of their appointment to a supervisory position pursuant to GML §209-q(1-a). The proposal for this phase will include a description of the curriculum design process to be employed, including any adult learning methodologies that would be considered for integration into the curriculum design.

The Division has attached the Request for Proposals (RFP) and its attachments to this NYS Contract Reporter ad and has posted the RFP and attachment to its website. The Division will accept proposals until the due date and time as published in the RFP. Vendors not submitting proposals according to the published timeline will not be considered for award. Questions regarding the RFP will be also be due and published according to the timeline contained within the RFP. Vendors are urged to check the DCJS website for updates regularly.
