Request for Proposals (RFP)
for
Disaster Debris Removal, Disposal & Reduction Monitoring Services
The City of Dothan is seeking a professional firm to provide professional and technical
services required for the support of Disaster Debris Removal, Disposal and Reduction
Monitoring Services in response to a disaster related event. The Disaster Debris
Monitoring Services are necessary to support the debris removal from public Rights-of-
Way (ROW) within the City of Dothan, Alabama including parks, City maintained public
property, public utility easements, and public drainage easements, monitoring reduction
and disposal sites, as well as mobile monitoring services and debris verification services
to assure debris management plans and contracts are effectively and efficiently
implemented as required by FEMA guidelines.
All proposals must be submitted in writing no later than 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2025,
to be considered. Firms mailing proposals should allow normal delivery time to ensure
timely receipt of their proposals. Proposals may be hand carried to the Public Works
office at 126 N. Saint Andrews Street, Room 303, Dothan, AL 36303 or mailed to: Public
Works, P.O. Box 2128, Dothan, AL 36302, Attn: Will Everett.
All proposals must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside “Proposal for Disaster
Debris Removal, Disposal, and Reduction Monitoring Services – City of Dothan”. Each
firm should submit five (5) copies of their proposal package. Firm’s name should also
appear on the outside of the package.
