Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by Whatcom County Purchasing at its Office in the Administrative Services Finance Department located on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue, Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for the following:

CONSULTANT PLANNING AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR:

FLOOD MITIGATION AND RESILIENCY PLANNING FOR SUMAS, WA (NO. 19082578)

LOCATED IN WHATCOM COUNTY

UNTIL: 2:30 PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2025

At which time and place the responses will be publicly opened (live/virtual via Zoom), and the names of the submitters identified. All interested people are invited to be present. Late submittals will not be considered.

The Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District (FCZD), in conjunction with Whatcom County, hereinafter jointly referred to as the County, is requesting proposals from qualified consultants for providing professional planning and associated services for a study to develop a community-based flood mitigation and resiliency plan for the City of Sumas, located in Whatcom County.
