The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, CA, intends to award a sole source contract to Northrop Grumman Corporation located at 1575 S. Price Road, Chandler, Arizona. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the proposed contractor was determined as the sole source uniquely qualified to provide the required operation and maintenance services.
The anticipated contract is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract, non-performance-based, with an ordering period of five years, and with Cost plus Fixed Fee and Cost type contract line items. The estimated award date for this requirement is June 2026.
The procurement supports Operations & Maintenance activities for Ground Lunch Drone Missile (GQM-163A) aerial target system for both the Department of Defense and Foreign Military Sales.
The sources sought synospsis for this requirement was posted on 24 October 2024 and a revision was posted 22 Apr 2025 under the solicitation #N6893625R0005.
Interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://sam.gov/ to start doing business with the federal government.
Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or Export Controlled Information. Access to CUI is limited, to a single point of contact (POC) per CAGE code, who is listed as the Data Custodian on the DD 2345 and approved by Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The DD 2345 must be approved prior to requesting access to CUI in SAM.gov. Contractors are responsible for coordinating with their CAGE code’s Data Custodian POC to request access to CUI.
