The U.S. Embassy Windhoek hereby provides the following solicitation notice in respect of the issuance of a Request for Quotation/proposal (RFQ) for:
The reinstatement/refurbishment of a section of a tar road and pavements/sidewalks at the old Embassy building for the Embassy of the United States of America in Windhoek, Namibia. The Contractor shall provide labor; materials and fully comprehensive work to perform the Refurbishment and Repair/Reinstatment building contractor services that will only include the tar road and pavement/sidewalks and removal of all unwanted material like concrete barriers and steel gates. All to be done to the specific standards of the Municipality of Windhoek (City of Windhoek).
This solicitation may result in an award of a contract/purchase order to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor.
The government may award the contract based on the initial offer, without discussion. The resultant contract/purchase order will be a firm fixed price type contract. The U.S. Government hereby issues the solicitation on this platform, SAM.gov and the U.S. Embassy website as from today, May 19, 2025. Please see RFQ for actual proposal response date.
