Project Description: The City of Rio Rancho is soliciting formal proposals for two (2) Scopes of Work (SOW). SOW A: Median and Shoulder Maintenance to include regular weed removal, pruning, debris cleanup, and repairs to irrigation systems for both irrigated and natural areas. The contractor must respond to emergencies, such as irrigation issues or hazards, within one hour of notification. Monthly schedules, invoices, photos, and annual summaries of herbicide and pesticide use must be submitted to the City. SOW B: Drainage Facility Maintenance to include services for 27 designated drainage facilities in compliance with the EPA’s Clean Water Act and other Federal, State, and City regulations. Tasks include debris and sediment removal, vegetation control, erosion prevention, and repairs to ensure proper drainage and prevent pollution of waterways.
