REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE EAGLE COUNTY REGIONAL AIRPORT

Eagle County, Colorado (“Eagle County”) and the Eagle County Air Terminal Corporation (“ECAT”) are soliciting statements of qualifications and experience from architectural and engineering design firms for on-call general services for the Eagle County Regional Airport. Services to be provided may include, but are not limited to, preliminary site assessment and requirements; architectural design; civil engineering; structural engineering; mechanical and electrical engineering; cost estimating; facility equipment design; land surveying; and specifications. Selection will be based on an evaluation of factors including recent experience in aviation facilities, public works facility projects, local knowledge of the region, ability to present to a public forum, reputation, background, capacity to meet schedules and budgets, quality of previous public building projects undertaken, quality of previous airport project undertaken, familiarity with the Eagle County Regional Airport, and degree of interest shown. This Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) will be non-exclusive. Eagle County and ECAT reserve the right to contract with other third parties. Statements of qualifications must be sent to Wallace Oliveira, Airport Maintenance and Project Manager, by email to wallace.oliveira@eaglecounty.us; UPS, Fedex, or DHL to 219 Eldon Wilson Road, Gypsum, CO 81637; or by U.S. mail to P.O. Box 850, Eagle, CO 81631. Statements of Qualifications must be received before 3:00 p.m., local time, on Thursday, August 31st, 2025. No telephone or facsimile statements of qualifications will be accepted.  Any statement of qualifications received after this time will not be considered and will be returned to the respondent unopened unless good cause is shown as determined by Eagle County and ECAT in their sole discretion. Qualifications will be evaluated only from those firms that meet the minimum criteria as set forth in the complete Request for Qualifications document.
