Electric Trailer Tug

This is a solicitation for commercial items issued by the 23d Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein.

Moody AFB is looking for

3 electric trailer tugs. The electric tug is desired to reduce manpower requirements to move equipment while reducing the risk of injury to personnel due to the heavy weight of the trailers.

EACH trailer tug must come with must come with:

- 1 Battery pack - sealed - 102Ah 24V -interchangeable

- 1 Machine crawl coupling assist

- 1 Two speed selector switch

- 1 Coupling -male - pin

- 1 large cardboard packaging

- 1 Charger - external - 15A 24V - 85V-265V

(total of three of each item)

Specifications requirements:

- 13,000 lb minimum towing capacity to 25,000 lb maximum towing capacity

- Ability to utilize Pintle and Ball hitch to move equipment

- Capability to replace battery upon degradation (Sustainment)

- Include charging peripherals utilizing 120v power source

- Equipment to be maneuvered: Munitions trailers MHU-141, MHU -110, MHU-226

- Suitable for indoor and outdoor operation

- Delivery to Moody AFB Base NLT 45 Days after receipt of contract award

- No certification required by manufacturer for operation

- A walk behind type device able to move trailers in confined spaces

For submission of a quote, a specification sheet of the Electric Trailer Tug offered must be provided for Technical Evaluation purposes.

Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
