This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 "Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions."
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Warm Springs Geo Visions. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and no other services will satisfy agency requirements.
Contractor shall provide labor, materials, and equipment to accomplish compiling a National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) determination of eligibility (DOE) for 35SH123 and 35WS357 at the Lower Deschutes River near The Dalles Project, Sherman County, Oregon, for USACE. The Contractor shall submit one (1) summary eligibility report and one (1) 10-900 form for each property listed above. The period of performance is 365 days from the date of award. Warm Springs Geo Visions is the only known source having the proprietary knowledge and information required to perform these services.
A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED. The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action. The NAICS code is 541720. The size standard is $28.0 million for the NAICS code defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to the contracting officer before the notice end date. If no affirmative written responses are received by the response due date an award will be made without further notice.
