The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Healthcare Contracting Division- Southeast (HCD-Southeast) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis IAW FAR 13.501(a), Only One Responsible Source. The proposed source is Fenwal, Inc., a Fresenius Kabi Company (Fenwal) of Three Corporate Drive, Lake Zurich, IL 60047.
The Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune (NMCCL), NC Blood Donor Center has a requirement for CPDA triple blood bags and Glycerolyte 57% Solution. The requested items shall be configured and validated for use with the Haemonetic ACP 215s that NMCCL currently owns. The items shall be Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which is approved for patient care. The requested supplies shall be configured and validated for use with the AMICUS™ Separator Collection System that NMCCL currently owns. The supplies shall be delivered timely, and products shall be free of defects in accordance with federal and industry standards per Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations. The supplies shall be provided for a delivery period from 01 December 2025 – 30 September 2026.
There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339112. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
