This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for market research and planning purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB), and it does not constitute a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with responding to this RFI or providing any requested information.
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking sources capable of manufacturing and delivering custom-fabricated intake guards (“Intake Shields”) for Cummins engines installed on the 47-foot Motor Lifeboat (47 MLB), in accordance with Government-provided specifications. Dimensions and additional details are provided in the attached “Intake Shield Sketch.”
