U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Border Patrol, Tucson Sector requires recurring hazardous and universal waste removal for ten sites located within the Tucson Sector's area of responsibility in southern Arizona.
The hazardous waste streams include batteries, pepper spray, light bulbs, paint/primer, used oil, oil and gas filters and absorbents, solvents, aerosol cans, medical waste, lead waste, used antifreeze/coolant, and used gasoline. Waste must be removed on an as-needed basis.
The anticipated period of performance is as follows:
Base Year: 09/15/2025-08/31/2026
Option Year 1: 09/01/2026-08/31/2027
Option Year 2: 09/01/2027-08/31/2028
A fixed unit price contract is contemplated.
A Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued as a total small business set-aside on or about August 18, 2025, with an estimated closing date of August 28, 2025. The RFQ will be issued using simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13.
The RFQ will be made available through SAM. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
It is anticipated that award will be made on or about September 8, 2025.
The applicable NAICS code is 562112 - Hazardous Waste Collection. The corresponding size standard is $47 million. As stated above, the solicitation is set aside for eligible small businesses under this NAICS code.
No sustainable acquisition requirements have been identified.
In order to be considered for award, quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov when submitting their quotations. Interested vendors not already registered in SAM are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible.
