Description
FCI Sandstone is soliciting for the replacement of the boiler controls system on three (3) high pressure boilers and installing a compatible master panel with at least a 12-inch color touch screen.
The new boiler controls system will be replacing the controls on three (3) boilers in the Powerhouse at FCI Sandstone.
Contractor shall be responsible for providing labor, and all materials needed for the removal of old boiler controls and installation, programming and startup of the new boiler controls system. The new boiler control system will be a Siemens LMV52, or equivalent and compatible with a Siemens master panel and have at least a 12-inch color touch screen.
The contractor will also be responsible for:

removing existing controls
-
installation and wiring of new controls in boiler room, three (3) boilers
-
provide updated wiring prints and schematics
-
installation of new master panel (in operator’s office)
-
program master panel (controls shall provide all operation of the boilers, failsafe mode if panel malfunctions will not interrupt boiler operation)
-
provide full integration via BACNET (customer shall be able to monitor all operations of the boiler)
-
installing compatible belly temp sensors (on each boiler)
-
installing new compatible speed sensors on old blower motors (on each blower motor assembly)
-
re-programming drive for RPM control
-
tuning boilers on gas with file flow meter (which will provide better accuracy with load percentage of boiler equal to BTU/hr and will eliminate the need for separate gas flow meters at each boiler)
-
contractor will be required to start up boilers on both gas and fuel oil and provide a detailed startup report
-
provide FCI Sandstone all manuals, related paperwork and onsite training
