This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 36C24725Q0393 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03.
This solicitation is Unrestricted; NAICS 337910; 1000 employees.
This requirement is for Therapy Mattresses and Control Units. The requirement does not contain options. The facility is NOT replacing the bed frames. All product(s) quoted must work with the existing bed frames without loss to fit, form or function. Newly manufactured items only.

Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, is applied as follows.
All vendors shall submit your quotations no later than March 13, 2025, at 10:00AM (EST) via e-mail to joseph.locke@va.gov. Please state ATTENTION: 36C24725Q0393 THERAPY MATRESSES AND CONTROL UNITS in the subject line of your e-mail. All quotes must include the solicitation number and a valid point of contact to include, company name, point of contact name, title, e-mail address and phone number. Late submissions shall be treated in accordance with the solicitation provision located at FAR 52.212-1(f).
Any questions or concerns regarding this solicitation shall be forwarded in writing via e-mail no later than March 10, 2025, at 12:00PM (EST), via the same e-mail address. Questions received later than this date/time may not receive a response.
Award will be based upon a comparative evaluation of quotes in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR 13. Comparative evaluation is the side by side pairwise comparison of quotes based on factors resulting in a Contracting Officer decision for the quote most favorable to the Government.
