ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at 502 N. 4th St., PO
Box 83720, Boise, Idaho 83720-0072 until 3:00 p.m. local time, on Thursday, June 4, 2026 for DPW
Project 26019 Chinden B6, Postal Relocation, Department of Administration, Boise, Idaho.
A description of the work of this project will provide an area that meets all the requirements needed for the
postal service to move into the building. This includes but is not limited to; an upgraded HVAC system,
electrical and data connections and compressed air callouts for the process equipment. Two rooms will be
added to the VAV air handler serving the building and removal of two existing air handlers that are outdated.
A new Direct Digital Control system will be installed and connected to the campus-wide front end for controls
of all new HVAC equipment.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, May 21, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m., prevailing local
time, at the Chinden Campus Conference Center, 11351 W Chinden Blvd, Boise, Idaho 83714.
Bidders are encouraged to attend.

One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and
electrical subcontractors from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit of $500.00. Others may
obtain documents at cost, non-refundable.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public
Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
