Description
Description:
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration intends to award a sole source contract to University of Maryland Physicians, PA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."
This sole source contract is shared space for the Depleted Uranium / Toxic Embedded Fragment Surveillance Center program, which are essential for patient care. The estimated value of this contract is $490,074.91.
Justification:
The rationale for the sole source procurement is that University of Maryland Physicians, PA is the only source capable of providing this space that will allow proper functionality of the programs in proper relation to the VAMHCS, Baltimore.
