NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed proposals for furnishing services and materials for sewer CIPP lining and manhole rehabilitation

at several locations throughout the City of Adrian will be received by the City Purchasing agent of the City of

Adrian, Michigan, at 135 E. Maumee Street, Adrian, Michigan 49221, until 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. on Tuesday,

June 23, 2026, and at that time will be publicly opened and read.

The work for which proposals are invited consists of furnishing labor, equipment, personnel and

materials for sewer CIPP lining and manhole rehabilitation work. The work will be conducted in publicly owned

streets and rights of way. Work shall commence after approval by the City Commission and signed Professional

Services Contracts are on file with the City Clerk.

Copies of the Contract Documents, Bid Specifications, Drawings, and other pertinent documents on

which proposals must be based, are available by request via email to Aaron Hacker at

ahacker@manniksmithgroup.com. Any necessary addenda will be emailed to plan holders that request plans.

All proposals must contain the name of the person interested therein and shall be accompanied by either

a bid bond in the amount of 5% of bid or by a certified or cashier’s check as a guarantee to the City that if the bid

is accepted, contract will be entered into and the performance properly secured.

A performance bond, maintenance guarantee bond, and labor/materials bond for 100% of the amount of

the Contract will be required.

The City of Adrian reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technical defects and

informalities as the interest of the City may require.

The City of Adrian reserves the right to perform all, none, or any combination of the proposed work.

Bidders, or their authorized agents, are invited to be present at the opening of the proposals.

No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days.
