PROCUREMENT TITLE: ­­GAS FLOW ANALYZERS

INTENT TO AWARD: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VAMC 1 VA Center, 1400 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, MA 02132-4927, intends to award one (1) Procurement on a Sole Source basis, to a Small Business Concern, using FSS Order number GS21F-169AA, for ­­GAS FLOW ANALYZERS (Base year – no Option Years).

BACKGROUND AND DESCRIPTION: This procurement seeks to purchase ­­Gas Flow Analyzers equipment to allow the Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) department to test and service Anesthesia machines, vaporizers, pulse oximeters, patient monitors, and various other medical devices.

PSC: 6515 Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies

AUTHORITY: This procurement will be issued under the authority of FAR Part 8 – Required Sources of Supplies and Services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
